Associate Prof. Tom John is a thoracic medical oncologist and Deputy Director of Medical Oncology at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, Australia. He has led and contributed to practice-changing trials in EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer, including the AURA, FLAURA and ADAURA osimertinib programmes and circulating tumour DNA / molecular residual disease research, alongside translational work in mesothelioma. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Thoracic Oncology, serves on the ESMO lung tumour faculty, chairs the Scientific Committee of the Thoracic Oncology Group of Australasia, and is a frequent speaker at major international congresses.
