Prof. Nicolas Girard is Head of the Curie-Montsouris Thorax Institute and Chair of the Medical Oncology Department at Institut Curie, Paris, and Professor of Respiratory Medicine at Versailles Saint-Quentin University (Paris-Saclay). He specialises in thoracic oncology, with research spanning perioperative strategies in resectable NSCLC, oncogene-addicted disease (notably EGFR-mutant NSCLC), and rare thoracic tumours such as thymomas; he has been a key investigator on trials including CheckMate-816, TROPION-Lung01, and COCOON. He is a past president of the International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group (ITMIG) and EURACAN domain leader for rare thoracic cancers, and is a frequent speaker at major international congresses.
