Stephen Finn

Prof. Stephen Finn is an Associate Professor of Histopathology and Consultant Pathologist at Trinity College Dublin and St James’s Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. He leads the institution’s Thoracic Oncology Research Group, with translational research spanning lung cancer biomarker discovery, targeted therapies, and liquid biopsy using circulating tumour DNA and cells. He is Clinical Lead for Solid Tumour Molecular Diagnostics, co-director of the Cancer Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory, a member of the European Thoracic Oncology Platform, and associate editor of Lung Cancer. He previously worked at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. He is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
