Maurice Pérol

Dr. Maurice Pérol is Head of Thoracic Oncology in the Medical Oncology Department at the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon, France. His research focuses on clinical phase I, II and III trials in lung cancer, particularly advanced non-small cell lung cancer, including targeted therapies, immunotherapy and antibody-drug conjugates. A principal or key investigator in numerous French and international cooperative studies, he has authored over 140 peer-reviewed publications, chaired the Groupe Français de Pneumo-Cancérologie (GFPC), served on the IFCT Scientific Board, and sits on the touchONCOLOGY editorial board. He is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
