Jair Bar

Prof. Jair Bar is Head of the Thoracic Oncology Unit and Deputy Director of the Cancer Center at Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan, Israel, and a Professor of Oncology at Tel Aviv University. His research centers on lung cancer, immunotherapy resistance, and translational oncology, including precision-medicine and biomarker-driven treatment. He chairs the Israel Lung Cancer Group and serves as Chair of the Academy of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), reflecting his leadership in international thoracic oncology. He is a frequent speaker at major international thoracic oncology congresses.
