Prof. Andrea Riccardo Filippi heads the Radiation Oncology Unit at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan and is Associate Professor of Radiotherapy in the Department of Oncology at the University of Milan. His thoracic work centers on stereotactic body radiotherapy and the integration of radiotherapy with immunotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer, including consolidation durvalumab after chemoradiation in stage III disease. He contributes to international guidance through ESTRO, IASLC, and ESMO, including the IASLC Advanced Radiation Technology Subcommittee and an ESTRO clinical practice guideline on radiation-induced pneumonitis.
