Dr. Roberto Ferrara is a medical oncologist and researcher in thoracic oncology and molecular immunology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan, Italy. His research centers on immunotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer, including immune checkpoint inhibitor resistance, perioperative chemo-immunotherapy in resectable disease, and predictive biomarkers; he led the multicentre work that first described hyperprogressive disease in NSCLC patients treated with immunotherapy.
